What does it do when you upload it?

I save the newly edited webpage in the local view. I make the connection with the remote site. I 'put' the file. Nothing changes on the site. It used to do! - otherwise I would not have a site at all. I altered a .gif on the local view, 'put' it and, as wanted, it changed the original site-wide. I alter a page locally, 'put' it, and the page does not change on the site.

Also, one of the reasons for editing is because some pages are no longer showing the picture files embedded in them. Some very similar pages show their pictures. Some do not. There does not appear to be a good reason for this. I have checked the file locations and they are correct and exist on both the remote and local sites.

Have you cleared your browser cache?
