If you have the Auto-Save feature turned on, you should be able to go into the "Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save" folder inside your project folder, and then copy the .prproj file with the last modified date into your main folder. Rename it to whatever your original project name was, and open it. You'll probably have lost a bit of work between your last manual save and the auto-save, but it's a lot better than losing all your work.
Excellent! Thanks :)
Didn't realize the autosaves were seperate files.
I need to recover my PrProj files too.
But I can't simply take the auto-save files, cause they were deleted too.
All project files were recovered with an UnDelete-Tool.
Now Premiere says "this file has been damaged".
Is there a way to recover the files or just a bit of the work??? THX
You can try to open a new project and import the damaged and recovered one into it. If that does not work, you are out of luck.
