Best settings for exporting in 1920x1080?

I am editing an HDV project and I was hoping to "export to movie" some of my sequences in full resolution (i.e. 1920x1080) in order to start a new project in which to assemble all of the sections. Although I will ultimately export in SD for DVD, I want to have a big 1920x1080 video file of the project to put on either DigiBeta or HDCAM for projecting in a theater.

Aside from the fact that it takes forever to export (over an hour for a minute of footage) I'm finding that there is a slight drop in quality and/or something "funny" about the exported movies - it's hard to explain other than to say that things aren't as clear.

The export settings that I am using are:

      Microsoft AVI
      Cinepak Codek by Radius
      1920h 1080v
      D1/DV NTSC Widescreen 16:9 (1.2)
      Quality - 100% high
      Recompress: Maintain Data Rate
      Optimize Stills
      Keyframe Every 15 frames

I know this is a bit of an inexperienced newbie question, so thanks in advance for your time.
