First inevitable question: You're not using the Trial version by any chance?
If you look on Adobe website and want to download a trial of encore, it let's you download the trial of PP CS3. What's the point of downloading PP CS3 trial that doesn't included Encore if you want a Encore trial? How do you actually get a trial of Encore?
AFAIK you can't.
All MPEG functions in Premiere are removed due to license restrictions... in other words, Adobe is not going to pay the MPEG fee to the codec owner for you to download a free trial... so you may test the other features, but nothing to do with MPEG
Since Encore absolutely REQUIRES the MPEG codec to work, there is no trial of Encore at all
Exporting via EnCore also crashes my system. All updates applied, using OSX 10.5.1 with a licensed version of CS3.
This renders Premiere useless. Any help?
You might want to post this in the Encore forum, as it possibly applies to that application. One problem is that Encore is new to the MAC and included, as of CS3, so this might be the correct forum, afterall. One problem, however, is that folk, who responded to the earlier thread, might not find your post added to the end. I'd suggest a new thread (and the Mods will decide if it needs to be moved to the Encore fora), and state exactly what happens, when your application crashes. I'm on PC, so I cannot even hazard a guess. The more details, that you post, the easier it will be for others to help you, without playing 20 Questions. Things like system setup, other apps., did it ever work, what are you trying to do, when it crashes, etc.
