I have NEVER had this happen. Are you purchasing the software over the phone? Also, are you based in the US?
Purchased on the Adobe web site, registered immediately upon install, and yes US based.
I'll give customer service another try when I have time and see how far I get.
Turns out the issue was my having two customer id numbers. Premiere 2.0 upgrade was purchased under one customer id, but registered under the second.
There does not appear to be an easy way to get everything consolidated.
Once I got to the sales desk (took 2 more calls to customer support first), the person was very helpful.
I'm hopeful now my order has been placed, but do not have 100% certainty yet.
Ah! That should explain it. The Adobe store is a little weird. For example, I can download trials via one of my accounts, but not the other one...
