    Adobe tracking of registered software

      Has anyone else been having trouble with Adobe losing records of registered software?

      I have had several products over the years that I purchased directly through Adobe and registered immediately upon installation, only to find later that Adobe lost the record.

      Most recently, I spend 20 minutes on the phone with customer service Sunday reconfirming my purchase of the Premiere 2.0 upgrade(from Adobe) and reregistering the 2.0 so that I could get the free upgrade to 3.0.

      Today I received a notice that they cannot process my upgrade until I register the software (and presumably spend another 20 minutes on the phone).

      This will be the third time I have had to register, losing time when I could be doing other work. I can't imagine this is cost effective for Adobe either.
