Start a New Sequence in the existing project with the settings you require.
Copy the NTSC Sequence into it. ie copy all the contents of the timeline/tracks into the PAL Sequence
I tried to add new sequence, but it doesn't give me the options to choose new settings, it simply uses the same settings as the first sequence. I went to menu File-New-Sequence. The only options it gave me was number of video tracks and audio settings. No PAL/NTSC and aspect ratio settings.
Is there another way to add sequence and change its settings?
Are you using CS3? This is the CS4 forum.
Yes, I'm using CS3, I must have accidentally published this in CS4. Is there a way to move this thread to CS3 forum.
Start a new project with the settings you want and then import the old project into it.
Thanks Jeff, that worked.
Was this moved to CS3? (I am sure I posted in the CS4 Forum)
>Was this moved to CS3?
Yes. See posts 4 and 5. :)
Too late..he already messed with my head by moving it. I didnt let it ruin my entire day.
BTW: I think thread and forum Protocol is to add the word 'MOVED' to the Post Header
>I think thread and forum Protocol is to add the word 'MOVED' to the Post Header
Why? If you find the topic, then you know it's been moved. :)
...and if you dont find it you think its lost (or you have gone quietly insane over night)
>if you dont find it you think its lost
There is neither the time nor the resources to leave a trail of breadcrumbs. Search for your name - you'll find all of the posts you have ever written.
(Well, maybe not all of them anymore. There's a forum software change in progress) ;)
You know, every time I try to leave a trail of breadcrumbs, I find that some critter came along and ate it.
I too thought I'd seen the thread in CS4 and was about to post a note on not posting the same question twice and in two different fora, and then Craig's reply hit, and I came to understand.
They are just messing with us "more mature guys" Bill.
Just remember...we have probably forgotten more than these guys know now.
>They are just messing with us "more mature guys"
Yup. You caught me. I lay awake nights figuring out how to mess with Bill and Craig. :)
Hey, I have enough "senior moments" on my own. I need no help to induce them, from anybody else.
PS Craig, how's the Nikkor doing?
