I am using a trial version of Premiere Pro CS3 for windows, and I am trying to add an effect to text: the effect I want is for the text to zoom in at normal speed until a certain point; then I want it to continue to zoom in but at a slower speed. Then finally I want it to zoom out at normal speed (note that in this effect the text never comes to a complete stop, I only want its speed to change at certain points). Basically I need to know how to place a cut in a transition so I can just alter the duration of that portion. Just as you can use the razor tool to cut a segment in a clip, how do I cut a segment in a transition? If there is any other way for me to perform that effect please tell me.
You set the scale and position of the text at the beginning, move to where you want the text to end up, at the time you want it there, and change the scale and/or position. As stated, you need to read up on Motion keyframes.
