is there a way to just cut parts of a clip and then save it without rendering it?
i just want to take some frames out and then save it in the same format that it was originally in.
this is for adobe pro cs3. thanks
these are .wmv files, doesn't rendering a video reduce the quality of it? because there are other very simple video editing programs that allow me to do this. i'm totally new to this field. the other thing is how do i save the video in the same format that i inputted the clip from? is there an easy way to tell what the clip is?
If you use WMV as source format, WMM or any consumer oriented program is much more suited to your needs. PP requires re-encoding with the inherent quality loss. Remember, when after shopping you need to stow all your shopping bags in the car to take home, it is much easier to use a simple Chevy SUV for the shopping bags than a Ferrari cabrio.
