Are you working with a standard 3.0 install or have you updated to the latest version, 3.2.0?
The original 3.0 does not work with MXF. It was something that was added after the fact. In Premiere go "Help/Updates" and let the system search for new updates to your program.
Thank you so much, the update got me to V3.2 level. I loaded from FS-100 into an Adobe folder about 200 mxf files, could see just one, all other trigger a fault message. No questions, I have to study and understand, all the best, Vlad.
Just import the mxf files from the VIDEO Folder.
I select them then drag them in to the Bin
Thanks Craig, you were right the simple thing should be tried first.
Just to share with nubiz like me, my FS-100, between v1.0 and v4.0 had probably changed the way it organizes the files. The videos recorded post-v4.0 were not in a recently date labeled folder, not in VIDEO folder, but in an pre-v4.0 date labeled folder. That's where I imported from all "w" (the letter identifying the DVCPROHD format) files.
I could not get the audio files, but that's another discussion.
On the FS xxx recorder you need to do a Function Called "Organise" before you download the file
This organises the mxfs into the P2 Content Structure.
Thank you, indeed "Organize P2" does the job, all files are organized in Video, Audio and Clip folders per the manual.
