Sorry, the subtitles were missing and I had some difficulty in understanding what you were saying. Care to translate this into English for those of us who did not get your meaning?
Croping would likely be something like cropping?
Obious would be something like obvious or obesity?
Apols is what? Or did you mean apologies?
How drastic are the edges? A TV will normally crop some of that overscan.
Otherwise, use the video effect titled, "crop".
If you are trying to export a file using the Adobe Media Encoder, and you want to crop the video to get rid of any black bars, use the crop tool in the Source tab in the Adobe Media Encoder to crop the source. Then check out the Output tab for the results.
Have you checked out the Effects>Transform>Crop? Apply this to the Clip, and adjust it, in the Effects Panel. It *should* do what you are wanting. You can adjust each "side" of the frame. If you want the same for other Clips, just rt-click on the Clip, to which you applied this Effect, and Copy. Select the other Clip(s) that you wish to apply the Effect to and rt-click, choosing Paste Attributes. If you decide that certain Clips need special treatment, then just adjust the parameters of the Effect (Effect Panel) for each Clip.
PS, if this is what you want, I will NOT shoot you...
Man, I'm with Harm. I just have no clue what the question was.
Harm & Jim,
I only hope that Miles will stop back in, to tell me, whether I "got it," or not. I did "assume" (and you what that makes) some, and tried to read between the lines.
