VERY POOR VIDEO QUALITY WHEN EXPORTED...HELP!!

I'm very new to Premiere, and I'm still learning the basics.

However, I recently made a video but no matter how I export it using Adobe Media Encoder, the resulting export is always in tremendously bad video quality, so much worse than the quality of the original videos that I edited from. The export is very pixelated and not smooth at all.

Am I missing a step in this process? If it helps, I always keep the default settings, and I always use either RealMedia or Quicktime formats.

Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated.
