No. Use it in a standard project. Or, convert it to 24p first.
I wanted to the 60i footage for slow motion...I thought the slow motion would look better from more frames to work with. What are some problems if I do use it?
Clip settings and project settings don't match, which is generally not a good thing. Try some footage and see for yourself what the problems may be.
Using After Effects to separate the fields into frames and then use 60 frames per second to create a 24 frames per second export, makes the best use of your tools.
