I can do that Steve. just uploading three clips - sorry no tripod - but got some motion - just holiday stuff - shot with a SR7 Sony on best quality setting. Will send you link. How are you editing. I have found that avchd is always a pig on the timeline (any program that so called supports it) unless it is pre converted to HDV
I can't say how I am planning to edit it. I am under a NDA (not Adobe). I shouldn't have been offered, but I tested things for them before, so they asked. I am more curious than anything.
I appreciate you letting me have some. Is yours 1440X1080 or 1920X1080? I could use some of both.
They are 1440 x 1080 which is as good as my AVCHD cam goes. They are just uploading so give the link a while. I also uploaded a HDV converted file with Elecard or Vegas - be interested in your comments as to how it compares with native HDV (thinking of also getting a HDV tape cam) Cheers Mick
Steven; you brag about your great job; Go buy a stinking camera! Cheap!
Why would I want to buy a camera that is of less quality than the one I have? I just want to test some software. Me? Cheap? You bet!
I am not rich enough to live on a huge farm like you.
Besides, what are you doing online on your birthday? Get back to the cake and ice cream!
Curt lives on a farm?? Curt, when do we get to visit?! :P
Happy b'day, by the way. :)
OK, I now have 1440X1080 PAL footage, and 1920X1080 PAL footage.
How about some of you Americans? Any 60i AVCHD footage out there I can get 10 seconds of? The Europeans have stepped up, now I need more local help.
The funny part is that some of the PAL footage is of San Francisco California.
