Standard Codec used for DV video
Premiere Pro CS3 with the latest updates as of yesterday.
Windows XP Pro SP2 on all computers
Four Different CPU types and speeds each has 2GB of RAM or more.
Trying to use a new feature in CS3 that I saw in a tutorial, but the feature is grayed out on all my computers. If anybody knows what the effects icon looks like in premiere that is what is grayed out. If you look under the Effect Controls there is Motion, Opacity, and Time Remaping. Time Remapping is grayed out on all my computers.
Is it just the effect's on/off toggle and the percentage field that are grayed out? If so, that's normal. You can't toggle TR on and off, and the percentage is controlled by dragging a black line segment up or down. But you have to twirl down the Speed control to see the line segments.
Try zooming in to the video track in the timeline and increasing the height of the track as well. Then set keyframes and drag line segments in the video track. You may like working with TR in the Timeline Panel better than using the Effect Controls Panel.
I see now what I was doing wrong.
You're welcome. :)
