Basically, I'm trying to find how/what can increase those really bright colors like red, bright orange, blue, etc..., while all the other colors, like, for example, the skin color of a white person still remains light gray, or of a black person still remaining black, after lowering the saturation way down to like -90%. I couldn't find something accurate enough to ensure what I described. It gives it this live yet still black & white feel. What can I use in Premiere CS3 to do so? It should probably just be an increase of something or of a few colors separately. :D
The 'colour pass' effect does not do a very good job of it.
Here is what i think is a better way:
Put your clip twice in the timeline on top of each other.
Put the 'black and white' effect on the clip in track 1
In track 2 apply the chroma key and key out the colour you want to leave in.
Add the adjust alpha effect and invert the alpha. Done.
You can even change the colour of the remaining colour if you want bij adding the 'change colour' effect.
