Yes. The Playback settings are probably set to use your computer speakers. Change that to External Audio.
How do I do that?
The manual or help file can answer that.
Preferences - Audio
I don't think that's right, Craig. Playback Settings are what's needed. (But my machine is tied up, so I can't check.)
The company I.T. department built my computer and install all components. They didn't give me the manuals and claim it didn't come with any. (they won't give me the disks either *grumble grumble*) I'm flying blind with this program. Prior to asking how, I did do a search of the help file but came up with a very long and unhelpful list. I also searched the forums prior to asking. I found audio preference but I didn't see where I could change output. Further clarification is needed. I've looked and I can't find it...please help.
What sort of Deck and what type of connection are we talking about?
eg Firewire or Analog
Sound Card, Matrox...????
Actually I re read the OP and now wonder what exactly is being asked?
Export to Tape seems to work - Video and Audio
>Audio plays when I use export to tape
So what actually is the issue?
Thank you everyone for your responses and Eddie for the link. The preferences was the problem.
Until next time...
>The preferences was the problem.
The preferences were the solution not the problem. :-)
Yes, that is correct. How very precise of you. *laugh*
