What is the device that will be playing the video (DVD player, Blu-Ray player, PC [and if it is a PC, how will it be hooked up?], etc.)
I would say the ideal thing to do would be to use a resolution of 1920x1080 (square pixels) -- and let there be 60 pixels of black on the top and bottom.
What is your source footage? 1080i ? 1080p ??

That's not very large.
Dan, thanks for the quick reply.
The device playing the video will be a PC and the screen will be hooked up via DVI cable i believe.
My source footage will be 1080i HD shot on the V1U.
I suggest that you export to 1920X1080 (square pixels) and use the Windows Media format at about 8Mbps.
You will have space above and below the video (about 100 pixels each) but at least the video will be the right shape and not be stretched out just to fill a screen.
