Kate - there are other choices if you Export using Export to Media Encoder Option.

Oh, that's just wrong.
Kate. I recall (hopefully correctly) that the Mac version uses Compressor and the Windows version uses Adobe Media Encoder.
craig you are wrong, in both mac and windows versions you export using adobe media encoder, unless adobe have acquired apple and compressor is included in the new master collection...
I am sure you are correct clemente.
I Cross Platform Upgraded from my Mac version back to a Windows version and forgot exactly how it worked. My Mac also had FCP installed as well as Premiere so Compressor was in that system.
I get easily confused.
Hopefully the OP has found her solution in AME.
