Customize your workspace to your liking and then save the workspace.
not a workspace issue..the tool pallet is empty
no edit tools, as in no ripple edit or anything but pen tool
Sounds like a video driver issue. Is it that way in all workspaces? What if your entire program is on the secondary monitor?
does it in all workspaces...until i disengage tools pallet..soon as i pull pallet to other monitor they come back..latest drivers for vid card
tried uninstall and reinstall..same issue..does not effect any of the other programs, just premier..tried pulling whole program to other monitor...still no tools..unl;ess i undock tools pallet..not keeping me from working..just minor pain in the rear
don't have to pull pallet to the other monitor to get it to load all the tools, just have to float the panel and the tools come back fully...hummmmmm
What if you reset the preferences?
Browse to "%appdata%\adobe\premiere pro\3.0" and rename "Adobe Premiere Pro Prefs" to "Adobe Premiere Pro Prefs.old." Try Premiere again. Worth a shot, but I'm doubtful it'll help.
New prefs easier by CTRL+SHIFT on startup.
tried trashing prefs...no good...sigh...i'm sure it's me..can't blame adobe on this one..i love thier software too much
guess i've started walking on water
don't know why..don't know how
it just started working right
thanks for the prayers...guess thats what did it
If you figure out what you did to fix it let me know. I have exactly the same problem.
