Changing FPS for a more professional look

    Level 1
I have a hard time describing what I want my footage to look like. There's this "home video" look that a lot of movies have, and I think it has something to do with the FPS. But if you have less frames per second but the clips play at the same length, it looks better- less "home video-ish", and more like a professional movie.. know what I mean?

So my question is just how to accomplish this in premiere. I'm sure there is a way to reduce my project's output frames per second without changing the length of the clips.

I'd appreciate help in this. I'd also appreciate any advice on other ways to make your video look more professional.
