PPro is a 32-bit application. I'm not sure how you expect it to use a 64-bit library.
Go back to a 32-bit operating system where you know PPro will work properly.

PPRO has worked fine up untill I installed the Tinder effect. It ruined the msvcr80.dll concerning PPRO... This much I know.
There has to be a way to change it back.
Reformat your drive and reinstall Vista
Did you have the search set to search hidden files? Likely you've got the library buried in the Windows systems files.
well, I just finished formatting the drive and installed Vista and...
when I open the file, same as before... premiere crashes.
The only logical explanation is that the file is damaged, which means I have to do all the movie all over again.
A pain in the ***... lucky for me I only edited 1 minute (out of 16 minutes overall)
did you try starting a new project to see if it will crash?
well, eventually that is exactly what I did, and so far, so good.
Apparantly the file was corrupted somehow...
You should have several versions of the project in Your Auto-save folder. I would surely try that before giving up on the project.
I did tries all the 5 versions...
Eventually I edited all from scratch. Hope this weird incident won't come back.
