> a green screen randomly pops up while watching the video
While watching it where? On a DVD in your DVD player or when viewing it in Premiere as an MPEG, an AVI or what?
I exported the full project, pulled that into Encore and built a DVD. The green flashes come up while watching the DVD on my TV through the Xbox 360 player.
I've never seen that before... other than sometimes "broken" .m2t files show green or red flashes in Premiere. Are these green flashes visible on the original timeline?
Try exporting just a short piece where one of these flashes occurred and see if it still happens -- andif it happens in exactly the same place.
It's not visible in the original timeline. I narrowed it down to places where I have PP created titles towards the bottom of the screen where I added small tips & tricks (its an instructional dvd). I exported 1 chapter by itself and...no more green flashes. I'm in the process of breaking the project into 5 pieces that I can then bring together in Encore.
Great that you've solved it... I have no idea why this would happen. Which exact process were you using? Did you export from VirtualDub as a Lagarith intermediary AVI file? Do you see the green flashes in the AVI file? I have noticed that before -- and this was an issue with older versions of the Lagarith codec. Make sure you have the newest version installed. http://lags.leetcode.net
