Use a different codec to export. apparently WMVdecoder is the problem. Try lagarith, or use the magical mystery codec that corresponds to the magical mystery codec of your video that you so urgenty took the time to inform us of.
Based on the decoding error message, my guess would have been that .wmv files were used as source material. I recommend just not doing that.
The video clips were originally m2ts files, and I had problems. So I converted to .ts, and I could import, but Premiere started to get all unstable and it thought that I was on low memory.
So I converted the m2ts files to .wmv
Those worked in Premiere perfectly. The video is a song, and when the words come up on the song A few clips pop up related to the lyrics (some green screened clips, and a lot of pictures).
so now I cannot get it to "export" :/
one question: I am a complete Premiere "noob", and I have been "exporting" videos through File --> Export ---> Movie
am I doing it right??
ok, so I was somehow able to export the movie as a sequence using file-->export-->movie when I did Uncompressed AVI. When I tried anything else it would either say error encoding movie, or it would crash.
Then something caught my eye... export to Adobe Media Encoder... What a wonderful aspect I had missed!!! it is now encoding as the MPEG-2 DVD format, lets see how that goes...
ok thanks. just a clarification I have the actual master collection, no trial.
thanks for the links,
