thanks but that advice is no help at all.Evryone works with what he has, my computer can support only vista and there are no drivers out there for XP. So pls anyone with some useful advise to get arround the problem?
And no I don't plan on spending money on CS4 or a new laptop...

You are beyond our help with such idiotic statements. If you don't want to take the advice from people who know what they're talking about then don't ask.

It's unlikely that your computer can't run XP. It's also entirely possible for you to dumb down the unsupported Vista 64 to the supported Vista 32, as both are included in the license. So there are two valid options for you.
The problem with working on an unsupported OS is finding the few who are attempting to do so, and have done so successfully. You might get lucky, but most people here will have little that will likely help you.
One possible option would be to migrate to CS4, which IS approved for Vista-64.
