I believe that Harm is correct on this.
One possiblity would be to Export your Title with its Transitions for use in other Projects. This would then be a DV-AVI video file, and no longer a Title, by the strictest sense. It would also not be easily editable, as far as content. This would only work if this exact Title was to be used, as is, but with the Transitions that you add.
I need to do a Feature Request for just what you are requesting. Next request would be for Photoshop to be able to edit .prtl (Title) files.
Unfortunately, a video file is no use to me as the title template I use is basically a background banner with text on it that needs to be changed every time...
PPro title function is doing a good job to make use of templates. However my titles need transitions every time, a fade in/out effect like TV captions, and I have to apply the effect manually every time.
Imagine having 20 titles in one sequence... That is 40 drag and drops...
>I have to apply the effect manually every time.
We all do, Cenk. Just the nature of the editing beast. But you can save yourself some time by setting up the transition you use for this as default and using the CTRL-D keyboard shortcut rather than dragging and dropping them.
I was afraid of that.
Jim's suggestion is as good as it gets.
One other Feature Request, that I keep adding is for a title based on the one in the Titler Editor, pick up the name of the base Title, so one only has to type the number. As it is, ore was, the Title name reverts to "Title XX," and is incremented by the number of Titles in the Project. Yes, a Ctrl-c/Ctrl-v will save some typing, but I think that the name should reflect the Title on which the next is based. Several Titler Feature Requests here.
