Probably because some of the functions are calling _root or other levels
that are no longer accurate since you loaded it into another swf.

so with that would I just have to go back and remove the _root on the other swf?
on your loaded swf, try putting _rootlock=true; on your actions layer. this should keep the functions working.

Make sure to read up in the help files for the loadMovie() function it is unpredictable at times... also there is a little error it is suppose to be _lockroot = true.
I acctually put this._lockroot = true; in the game swf file on the main timeline and it seems to be working just fine. Thanks alot
