Motion Effect produces Out of Band Values

      Hi all,

I had an "interesting" experience the other day. Premiere CS3 was consistently crashing when rendering a timeline. I had figured that it was a bug in one of the video effects I have written myself. But I eventually traced is back to Premiere. The "Motion" filter that is on every clip was producing "out of band" values for pixel levels, such as 1.00008. In 32 bit floating point, pixel levels are supposed to be between 0 and 1. Who knows what general havoc this might wreak with other filters downstream...

Anyway, just thought I would share in case others are having problems. I wonder if this has been fixed in CS4?

      Cheers,
      Veronica
