6. Re: Audio is unsynced after encoding
director.lionel Jan 28, 2009 12:24 AM (in response to director.lionel)I need to send trailers to others (for general viewing), so I assume I need to keep them multiplexed mpeg files for viewing in RealPlayer or Qucktime player. If you know otherwise, please let me know. Thanks. -
7. Re: Audio is unsynced after encoding
Jeff Bellune Jan 28, 2009 4:02 AM (in response to director.lionel)For web delivery, Flash and Windows Media are much better choices than MPEG2.
If you'll be sending them physical media, then just author and burn a DVD using the .m2v and .wav files. -

I didn't see the following point specifically made in this thread or your parallel thread in the Encore forums, where I think you said you are emailing the trailers. It has been a while since I have received an actual movie attached to an email; put the trailer on the web and send a link in the email. Then use flash for the trailer. -
9. Re: Audio is unsynced after encoding
director.lionel Jan 29, 2009 4:28 PM (in response to director.lionel)I will eventually be putting the trailer onto websites, but I wanted to avoid making them public until I think they're ready. There's certain individuals I'd like to send the trailer directly. It would also be a hassle and expense to send it to 30 people via separate DVDs, just to get their input.
Is it possible to attach and send a flash file via email? -

Just put it on a private portion of your web site (or your favorite hosted web site) and only give the link to the individuals who need to see it initially. -
