      Hi all,
I am building a project were I must have old footage of famous historic speeches, i.e. JFK, Winston Churchill etc.
Does anyone know of any good websites that facilitate this please.
I have looked on google but only get the audio or transcripts, but I need the footage.

      Thank you so much,

      josel

That sounds like a job for a specialist vision library, someone who handles national archive material.

I found video of JFK here: http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/jfkinaugural.htm

          but only very small quicktimes.

Some of Churchills famous speeches were for Radio, and may not have been filmed. I don't think I've ever seen vision for "we shall fight them on the beaches..." but I could be wrong.

            Thankyou Matthew,
I had found this along time ago http://www.thoughtequity.com/video/home.do?mkid=Download-download%20footage&gclid=CPrEu57 zzZgCFUIw3godwjCH1w

But it is very very expensive.

I can see why their is no great demand for this type of thing.
