I also have discovered...
The project, when I relinked all it asked me to, 90% of clips were missing, several of my sequence timelines all clips were missing.
I tried to open my latest AutoSave file and it was from 2 weeks ago, even though I have been seeing AutoSave work every day.
The trimmed project I created yesterday won't open properly. I get messages that files are of unsupported format or corrupt.
I am afraid to keep doing anything to my projects for fear of losing all I have worked on.
Please help, I am really worried here.?
False alarm. I panicked.
I was opening an old copy of the project.
No worries, Keith. :)
I've never done that, and I'll never do it again.
I've done that. And it is helpful to be reminded why so much is missing when you do it!
Now, reminded, I vow once again never to do it again.
Keith, thanks for posting the whole sordid "sequence"; it really will help someone.
It took a couple of hours to get my regular heartbeat back...
Hey, who ever said that editing was not an aerobic effort?
My gut says that every time I try and tie my shoes.
Would that be a gut reaction?
Somehow, I envisioned you as being an early 30-something with a Bluetooth transceiver hooked to your Blackberry while hitting the stairmaster at the club, never having to worry about having to buy one size larger trousers.
I was once an early-thirty-something, though I've never much cared for my phone to do anything other than make calls.
(I still watch TV only on my TV, I listen to music only on my stereo system, and I take videos only with my video camera. I guess I'm old fashioned that way, using the right tool for the job and all.)
