Ironically, the answer to your question is exactly the same as the setting name that you referenced - "None".
There is no compressor that is guaranteed to be on every system.
Rather than try to cover
bases, I'd suggest checking with the editor to see what file types his/her system supports. Also, find out which NLE they will be using.
Chances are great, that MS DV-AVI Type II will do it all for you, but a quick check might save you having problems, or starting a PC vs Mac war.
The Quicktime Animation codec, with millions of colors + (Plus being the
alpha) is friendly with most NLE's either platform. DV-AVI is usually
safe as well.
