Color-change line when exporting clips involving .mov.

My Premiere Pro CS3 has recently developed indigestion when it comes to .mov files. I have .avi and .mov versions of similar clips, but I like to use the .mov files because they are cleaner and without logos. In the video editing panes, the files look great.

However, once exported, the .mov sections develop this vertical color division about 1/5 from the right-hand side of the image. The problem is very vexing because it ruins the quality of my videos, and I can't see the final marring until the entire project has exported.

      Example: http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/9048/line.jpg

(To avoid confusion, the diagonal line running behind the chalkboard was part of the original clip.)

I'm exporting to MPEG-2 at high resolution. Avi files have no such problems.

Is there a patch I need to install? A setting that I need to change?
