While in Pr, press "F1" to bring up the help manual and type "save" or "auto save" in the search box.
Also bring up preferences Pr and select "auto save"
Thanks. I have done that, and can't seem to find the "Adobe Premiere Pro Auto‑Save folder", and there does not seem to be an option under general preferences to specify a location.
Sorry, bring up preferences in Pr and select "Scratch Disks".
Or... open up the "save as" window under "files" and click the down arrow on the right side of the "save in" box. You will see the path of your saved project. Normally it will be in their.
If you don't see it its probably because you have not "auto saved" yet.
2.0 did it's auto-saves in the project folder, with no way to change that. I don't know if things are different for CS3, but you should start looking there.
If you have not purchased CS3 as of yet, perhaps it would be better to avoid answering questions about specific product features?
However, in this case, you are correct. It didn't change. The Auto Save directory is under the directory where the project itself resides.
I do hold off on things I'm not pretty sure of, and for my answers that might not be accurate, I try and mention it.
