Since the real product is shipping soon (Amazon says July 12... I saw another message saying purchase by download is now active) it MAY be that the trial date has passed and internal coding won't allow install
Mark, are you talking about the beta, or the free trial (which is now available)?
The free trial version.
I've ordered the prodcut as well but wanted to get a jump on kicking the tires.
I tried to download the trials for all the new releases and continue to get a Cold Fusion Error from Adobe. Does anyone have an actual link to download?
Well, it gets better.
I went thru the slow d/l process again this morning. The download applette was already installed and it started up quickly. I chose details in order for the applet to NOT install upon completion.
When it did finish, I then let the applett proceed to launch, chose my own temp folder for it to ectract to, and this time it went to completion.
Great! It worked. At least the installation part did. Someone say something about another shoe?
Now let's see what the program looks like. I chose it from the All programs menu as there is no Desktop icon, and it asks me for a serial number or to try for 30 days. I select the latter and it proceeds with a loading ... Adobe Premiere CS3 splash.
... until it gets to an FL Studio VSTi.dll and proceeds to go no further.
The system isn't hung, just constant hourglass over the Premiere CS3 splash. Task Manager doesn't even show the application as hung, but under Processes, Adobe Premieree Pro CS3 tops the list on mem usage (263 Megs), and I can kill the process there.
And no, I haven't tried renaming, moving, uninstalling, etc. concerning FL Studio at this point, although I might test that later.
So, it sounds like I'm gonna have a tech support issue before I even receive my official copy of the product. I think that's a first.
I have the full version and it still refuses to go beyond the FL Studio VSTi.dll part! It works fine somehow on the slower Dell I bring to school for notes but not on this uber fast Duo Core computer! Could someone help me out please? I would be eternally grateful.
I've been having a different problem. I'm on Windows Vista with a capable computer, and downloaded the trial version (a sad few times, you can imagine that chewing up bandwidth!)
Anyway, it downloads perfectly into the Akamai Download Manager. I lauch it and I get the window which asks me whether I'd like to run the installation, or cancel. I click run.
Nothing. No evidence in the processes about an application trying to load, just nothing. It's as if I'd actually clicked cancel. What's going on?
This is really bugging me, if someone could help me out it would be GREATLY appreciated!!! My email address is email@example.com
Vista 64? That is not supported. Otherwise try another download manager.
I have installed and am running on vista 64 so it should work.make sure you install as admin.
