Presumably by contacting Adobe.
Can I get technical support for my trial version? Adobe Technical Support will help you install or troubleshoot an installation issue with a trial version of Adobe creative products. Additional phone and web support is available only for registered users of purchased software. For additional help, we recommend the following free, web-based services:
Visit the Adobe Online Forums, where users of all levels ask questions and share information. In addition, Adobe Community Experts are sometimes active on forums, answering user questions.
Search the online Adobe knowledgebase
Try the many tutorials and other learning materials we have available in the Design Center and Developer Center
The above shows the "Support" you'll get from Adobe!
I'm having the same problem as Lair 12 is at the beginning of this Post.
Same advice given earlier could be applicable to you.
Yea I have this same problem with Premiere CS3...
It's not too annoying and so I learned to live with it. Everything else seems to work just fine so why fix something that isn't broken?
Anyways I will be getting either Avid or CS4 soon...
CS4 had the same problem
I solved this problem yesterday and i am going to tell all the steps because i am not sure what exactly helped.
1) uninstall Adobe (it faild to uninstall few components)
2) Installed: Windows Installer Clean Up (needed for the following step)
3) run "Adobe CS4 Clean Script" (removed what was left from Adobe)
4) Delete other files related to Adobe Premiere (geez!)
5) Installed Adope Premiere (did NOT change any options during installation)
6) after registering, activation exactly the same message about codecs appears.
7) But now they installed successfully! (the weird thing is that i was NOT connected to the internet at that
7.5) Also, try do do it without any codec pack installed.
here's the (shorted) communication, only 'cause it's really annoying:
CUSTOMER / ME:

Running the software in admin-mode does not solve the problem.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz
ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series
It's abridging the full functionality of expansive products! Would be pleased about a fast answer!
Thank you very much!
I would suggest you to upgrade to the latest version of Production
Premium, which is CS5. Also I am providing you the Adobe link where you
can create a contract with the help of Adobe Customer Service
Nice reply! That would be the most expansive codecs of my life! Anything else works fine in my suite...
I'm really on the edge! Thank you, adobe!
Even in 2011, some of us still have CS3 Pro. Cost a bundle and am not ready to upgrade to latest. Meanwhile, everytime I start Premiere Pro I get "Additional Codecs that are not included in the trial version of Premiere Pro CS3 must be installed. "
As I said, I paid for my full version ... no trial, though I get this trial message when I recently reinstalled my CS3 product.
I click okay and get "Additional codecs that are not included in the trial version of Premiere Pro CS3 must be installed ... <contact technical support if the problem persists>."
Thought going online and updating would resolve no go. Well, I finally contacted tech support. That was really absolutely no help. The gentleman, though kind, only pointed me to this forum. He was willing to stay on phone with me as long as I wanted but would not give me the answer, though he was technical support. He only wanted to collect information from me and it sounded like I was being recorded without consent. When I commented about how long he was taking with me and that he could have certainly by now given me the answer, he said it would basically cost him his job. If this is true -- WAKE UP ADOBE TECH SUPPORT MANAGERS and let your people do their job. Staying on the phone and pointing me in "right direction" without pointing me "to the answer" really is frustrating and so I am asking this old forum to revive a fresh answer. Uninstalling is just not an option. Takes toooooo long to install and I'd rather leave with "cancel" and simply using what codecs are loaded.
If anyone can give me a short, sweet answer, I'd much appreciate it ... as will others who are still using CS3 Pro in 2011, 2012 and beyond!!!!
