Tape is 60i.
So how do I convert an existing project to 60i? Or is there a way to export/import a sequence into another project?
How did you capture from what?
I shot the video in 24f (Canon XH A1) and captured it in PPro CS3. I've done all the editing and can export to any of the media formats, but now I want to record it back to tape on the XH A1.
I can do this for 30i/60i footage but not for 24f footage. I can use the 24f footage in a 30i project in PPro CS3 and then export it to tape. But I've got these sequences already set up in my other project and don't want to have to re-do all the edits in a new project.
Hope that gives you all the info you need?
Shiv, I read in another post that you need to downgrade to Premiere 2.0 for 24F compatibility.
By the way, can you give me some feedback on the Canon A1? I tested the camera and compared it to the Sony products (Z1), and I noticed the smear effect is quite heavy when you pan with the A1. Did you notice it as well?
Personally, I don't believe the A1 is any different from any camera in this respect. Of course in 24f mode you'll probably get more "smear" as you call it than in 30i.
Typically, you pan very slowly with Film and video cameras.
