Is this a question?
whats your project settings?
sorry i didn't finish. Is there a way to do this faster or keep from it changing in size? I do way to many videos and would need 10 computers to keep up at this rate
Do what? You haven't begun to describe what it is you want to do, though you do describe converting an HDV source to a SD export ...
The old one what?
What are your project settings?
What format are you exporting to?
What effects are you applying?
brian is like me he thinks he is being thorough and to the point.
Brian, I do this all the time in this case we have to know a lot more specific information. What system and configuration, what version of your OS, what kind of hardware (computer brand and model, disk space, array, memory perhaps camera and method of capture and what card you have and he way you are capturing.
Then as everyone else has pointed out list your questions specific manner and more concise.
For instance I capture footage with Canon xyz1 in HD and when I save out it was changing the resolution so I did such and such (you actually have to describe what you did) to get it not to change the resolution. This is fine except it takes to long is there another method I might use to reduce the time and keep the quality. then give the specs for what you want to end up with the length of the video being save and any work you have done to it.
What do you call a small movie 2 minutes at full HD resolution.
See I am just as bad as you are. But I am trying to help
Here's my guess.
He's got HDV source, mistakenly chose a DV export option and can't figure out why the resolution changed.
That's what it sounds like to me too.
