I have DVD made from a 3dmax. (I donot have 3dmax files).
I renamed the vob to mpg then using Pr CS3 Edited the mpg (mainly cutting into clips and reorganizing).
I used Export to Adobe Media Encoder and Exported to High Quality mpg2.
Worked very good, preview the mpg perfect on my pc.
Then using Encore Burned the DVD.
The DVD played perfect on the computer using PowerDVD 7 (worked good on notebook LCD or S-Video to TV).
My problem is when using outside DVD Player to TV, the picture came out very bad with flickering and shaking and less details (Horizontal lines appear some times giagonal with less resolution).
When you exported from Adobe Media Encoder did you have the Field order set to None (Progressive), Lower Field, or Upper Field? Computers display progressive scans, but television displays interlaced fields. You might want to try experimenting with the different scan types in Adobe Media Encoder.
