I have a curious issue. I'm in the middle of capturing some footage from my HV30. I go through a standard capture and everything seems fine (camera detected, etc). Once I'm done capturing my clip though, I click the record button a second time and I don't get the save dialog box. I decided to point Premiere's file browser to the save folder and as I capture, I can see the file being written but as soon as I stop, it vanishes.
I'm using Premiere Pro CS4 and Windows 7. I know it's not officially supported so if it's a Win7 issue that's fine. But if it happens on any other OS I would love some help.
Thanks for the reply Bill, but I have tried using the in/out points to capture. I've noticed something since, though. I'll hit the record button and Premiere will say it's playing back on the hardware but it doesn't give me the amount of storage I have left. If I keep trying to record though, eventually it does, and I get a successful capture.
