    Automatic deinterlacing

Using Adobe Premiere CS4 for encoding video I would like to switch on\off the option deinterlace like in previous versions (manually).Using Automatic deinterlacing video becomes turbid when I export video. Help me to solve this problem.

          Why?

          * interlaced source --> interlaced output: deinterlacing doesn't make sense.

          * interlaced source --> progressive output: deinterlacing is automatic.

          * progressive source --> progressive output: deinterlacing doesn't make sense.

For the case of a 24p or 25p DV .avi file, Pr will see it as interlaced. However, you can go to File>Interpret Footage and force Pr to see it as progressive.

            "becomes turbid"

Are you saying cloudy or what?
            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbidity

            or

            1. Having sediment or foreign particles stirred up or suspended; muddy: turbid water.
            2. Heavy, dark, or dense, as smoke or fog.
            3. In a state of turmoil; muddled: turbid feelings.
