I tried it and it says disc capacity is full and does not give me an option to split the file. Do you know the proper steps?
Yeah, I guess it can't. Roxio it is.
You should be able to use a BU program, like Ghost, that can span DVD's. Do not know about Roxio, or Nero, but would look to the BU application community.
Sorry, but I always use externals, so I'm not up on what might work perfectly for you.
Thanks for your replies.
Does anybody have experience with WinRAR for back up purposes?

Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit.
For Quick & Dirty (and Free) backups, (from the prompt-remember that?) Windoze has an admin program called Robocopy, which comes with the Dev. Kit (or the maintenance kit--I can't remember which). Check the MS site for particulars.
Although its name suggests "Robot", it as actually for "Robust" File Copy. No, it's not full featured, but it does a remarkable job, and did I mention that it's free.
