The best way I know is to get a faster PC.
Or use a faster NLE :) I have always found PPro to be a slow renderering app relative to , for example, Edius 5. Now that everything is tied to AME, it is worse. But it is definitely relative to the horses under the hood. What are your computer specs, and specifically what color corrections? Horrifically slow is relative to all that, of course, so it helps to state all that up front when you post.

Thanks--this answered my specific question perfectly. One follow on question, the manual states that when rendering to the timeline a slight reduction in quality may occur? Is this true in your experience or is it more of a very subtle difference?
Is there any way around the loss of quality if it actualy exist?
Much thanks again Bill!!
Don't they simply mean that the finished rendered Program Monitor image is less quality that what will be the final output, not that the final output is impacted?
Just a guess.
