Trials do not support HD(V).
Specifically, trial versions do not support any MPEG variant (AVCHD, being an MPEG-4 variant, is not supported). This has been the case with all previous Premiere Pro trials as well, since Adobe is required to pay licensing fees for each copy of the software released, including trial versions.
Users who have purchased the software are so far confirming AVCHD support.
Ahh I see, that makes sense. It's a pain, but it makes sense
Would someone who has the licensed version of Premiere Pro CS4, please confirm the following:
After importing and editing AVCHD files, can you export as an H.264 file with video and audio multiplexed in a .ts stream?
And, can the audio stream be 6-channels (5.1) -- not just downsampled to stereo?
