    System Mechanic 8

Heads Up. We have been using System Mechanic 8 on our XP editing systems and found that when you run Active Care within System Mechanic, it deletes an After Effects file, FLT.dll. Without this file, After Effects won't start. An After Effects dialog without FLT.dll recommends reinstalling the program. All you really need to do is copy the dll file from another computer to C:\Program Files\Adobe\After Effects CS4\Support Files, and everything is back to normal. I emailed Iolo about this problem, and Adobe may want to follow up on this.
