What software needs to be able read the T/c off the video?
It's a proprietary piece of software that edits and creates closed captioning and subtitles called Swift.
Thanks Eddie but I don't want BITC. I already have BITC on my file.
What I need to do is create a timecode track that my software can read.
Quicktime allows an embedded timecode track to be present if it's created at the time of the file creation. I need to find a way to re-create the video with that track.
Then, I need to match that track to the BITC already present.
Still looking for suggestions.
If you know you can write the timecode to a QT it seems all you want now is to right the TC of your choice. ie a 10 hour start.
You can set the timeline to any timecode you wish in Premiere. Drop down menu at the end of the timeline supplies the option to do this.
