Apart from specifying my audio card, was there anything I missed Harm and Eddie?
Also forgot to say Windows and Prem are installed in English. Hope that sheds soem light on the situation.
Probably you video card of make ANSWERED and your drive setup with another brand ANSWERED are causing this issue. You may also have a look at your SB card. Remove it altogether, including all related software and use on board sound (on what mobo, or is that also brand ANSWERED?). Does that remove the issue?
>These questions are not applicable:
They are indeed applicable. Having a capture card integrated with PPro can (and does) make PPro behave differently, hence the need for us to know those kinds of details.
However, since you know better than us, I'm moving on. :)

Eddie I wrote "not applicable" because I don't have a capture card- so the question of what model/make it is isn't applicable...
Harm, the mobo is an Asus A8N-SLI. (That's not in the Hardware questions)
So, any thoughts now?
Not yet, still waiting for the not-answered ANSWERED questions.
