What project settings, what encode settings, what source material, etc. Only the first questions of a long, long range of questions for the next month or so if you do not give sufficient details.
I'm using Pal. film is a sony mini dv camera, captured by premiere cs4.
Exported to Encore using File->dynamic link->send to Encore. burned to a DVD (not Blueray).
What else can be of help???
'film is a sony mini dv camera' my new favorite typo.
More info than that my friend. What Camera? Your source footage - What Codec? FPS 24p or 29.97 or 59.97? What are your Premiere project settings? Are you using a preset for the Premiere sequence setting?
There isn't any kind known problem that would give you a simple answer. Most likely your setting something wrong somewhere. OK
Ok, I'll check all these and get back to you..
Ok, I found what was the problem.
In Encore, right after you send it from Premiere, it asks you if you want a dvd or a blueray. I chose a dvd.
BUT, and there's a big but... If you click on FIle->quality settings... you can see that although I chose DVD, the box near Blueray is still checked!
Once I checked the DVD box again, it was fine.
I guess it's a bug of some kind. Hope it helps everyone...
