it should open in whatever setting you closed it in, Bob.
This is certainly true if you undock the various panels and spread them across your monitor (or over two monitors). I do it and, whenever I open the program, it opens to that same configuration.
Thank you Steve! I undocked the History and My Project panels and that seems to have done the trick. I have dual displays too, and I'm trying to keep PE, LR2 and CS3 on the left, and my IMatch image management tool on the right - Bob
One word of warning, Bob.
There's a bug in version 4 that, if you undock the timeline (the My Project panel), some of your older projects won't open. They'll appear to be corrupt.
But no worries. If this happens, just open a new project and go to Window/Restore Workspace and all will be well.
This is true only of the timeline though. You can undock the other panels with no problems.
