Select each title from the Media panel and go to File/Export/Title for each.
Thanks, that exports it as a bitmap and I can't edit it in the new project. But, that's better than I had to start with.
You would think that there would be a way to copy/cut and paste.
It should export it as a bitmap, Phil. It should come out as a .prtl file, which you can import into another project and edit as needed.
Are you sure you're using Fie/Export/Title?
If you want to be able to edit your copied titles, you could try using Clipmate
Since there is no audio involved, you won't need to do the rename folders fiddle; just copy to Clipmate and paste into the new project.
I haven't tried it so I don't know if it will work.
I have now tried it and it works. The pasted title of course goes to track 1 (as always with pasting), but you can easily drag it to another track.
I highlight the clip in the Project view, On right click there is no Export.
With the clip still selected I went to File/Export and as you said there is a Title selection. When selected it it picks up the name of the clip with a .prtl extension. I must have done something wrong the first time. I then went to Get Media and added it to my project. Works just fine and is fully editable.
Good news, Phil!
