Any nVidia or ATI based graphics 128 meg graphics card should work.
If it has the ability to create pixel shading, you'll be able to use all the GPU effects in the program.
Since you have already thinking of a graphics card and still evaluating the processor i believe you must go for a core 2 duo. Also there are many series like 5250, 7250, 8100 etc. Try getting the strongest processor. A sluggish experience is the last thing you wouldd want i guess.
I just finish build my custom pc. Here are my spec:
Windows Xp Home edition
core 2 duo 3.0 ghz
Intel DG31PR(micro ATX) with onboard video
2GB of DDR2 RAM
Western digital 500GB hard drive
Corsair 450 power supply
would Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT work?
I prefer ATI, others prefer nVidia http://ati.amd.com/products/Radeonhd4800/index.html
